Second floor apartment with two bedrooms featuring queen size beds and a futon in the living room (thus 2.5 bedrooms). Hardwood floors are recently refinished. Two good-sized bedrooms with closets, dressers, mirrors, ironing board, iron. Dining room with 6+ person table, chairs, and sunny bench for plants. Living room with futon and sitting chairs, kitchen has breakfast nook and small table. No TV but we do have BOSE speakers throughout the apartment with stereo and CD for tunes! The kitchen is equipped with mix and match pots/pans, an oven and electric range, full fridge/freezer w/ ice maker, a coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and all of the dishes and utensils you will need during your stay, there is no dishwasher. No A/C however there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and big open windows should keep you cool at night. Apartment has a back deck and stair access which is nice for a couple chairs and plants. Lots of storage space with the extra room and closets in each bedroom, pantry, etc. Built in bench in the kitchen is nice for sleeping or relaxing, comes with a custom cushion. Lots of windows (double pane) and light you will enjoy that, and each window has a top down, bottom up shade. A third Office room is not shown in the pictures but has a stand up desk, closet, and storage shelf. The Parkside neighborhood is developing and in the city of Portland. You will hear city noise, emergency vehicles, etc. Deering Park is a beautiful urban hangout and just a quick walk down the hill but is best enjoyed during daylight hours.
Venture up the hill to the West End to enjoy the many restaurants and bars. The Old Port is an approximate 1 mile walk or even easier uber ride. Our parking lot is adjacent to the building on Sherman Street, one off-street parking spot is available. Portland is a very walkable city but we also have excellent public transportation via the city buses, cab, Lyft and UBER. Space can be prepared (ie furniture moved, etc) to suit your needs if a good fit.
